Come Home To Yourself

You are invited to a guided process of courageous, compassionate, self‑inquiry designed to restore balance, clarity, and inner integrity

Arbor Vitae Coaching

The name Arbor Vitae, or Tree of Life, reflects the essence of our coaching philosophy: growth, integration, and connection. Just as a tree’s roots anchor it while its branches reach toward the sky, personal transformation begins with a strong internal foundation that supports authentic action. Coaching becomes a process of rediscovering internal alignment, embodying wholeness, and learning to show up with integrity and intention.

So much of what we struggle with is not because we are broken, but because we have learned to live life fragmented.

Between what we feel and what we show,

Between who we are and who we think we need to be,

This work is an invitation to come back into wholeness.

To explore what has been unseen, reclaim what has been set aside, and begin to live from a place that feels more true.

If you’re ready to move deeper into connection with your wholeness and build a life that reflects your integrity, let’s begin with a conversation

What Ontological Coaching Can Do For You

Ontological Coaching focuses on how language, emotions, and the body influence how we see ourselves and the world. As we begin to observe how these shape our perspective, something powerful happens - what once appeared fixed begins to open.

Coaching opens new perspectives and possibilities for action and growth while providing a supportive space to explore these questions and discover new ways of seeing, being, and acting.

How Do You Know if Coaching is Right For You?

If you desire any of these, then you are exactly where you need to be:

  • Reconnect with your core values and inner wisdom

  • Explore limiting beliefs and patterned behaviors

  • Cultivate resilience, self‑compassion, and grounded presence

  • Integrate insight into sustainable, embodied change

  • Seek deeper self‑understanding and emotional healing

  • Move from fragmentation toward wholeness

  • Navigate difficult life transitions or difficult decisions

  • Engage in a space where you can reflect honestly while being seen and heard

You don’t need to have everything figured out

You only need a willingness to be curious about yourself and open to new possibilities

Lisa Brosseau, M.Ed., is the founder of Arbor Vitae Coaching and a trained Ontological Coach. She works with individuals who want to reconnect with their authentic selves and create meaningful, lasting change. Through thoughtful conversation and deep reflection, Lisa helps clients explore the patterns of language, emotion, and belief that shape their lives so they can rediscover their wholeness and live with greater clarity, presence, and possibility.

About Lisa Brosseau

Professional Journey

Lisa’s path to coaching has been shaped by a lifelong exploration of identity and what it means to truly show up in the world. Earlier in her life, she held a variety of roles that shaped her understanding of self and human development, including Wildlands Firefighter, Naturalist, Youth Conservation Corps Crew Leader, commercial fisherman, and later high school IB and AP Humanities and History teacher both internationally and in North America.

As an educator and mentor, she encouraged students to “make the invisible visible”—to examine their inner world with curiosity while questioning long-held assumptions about the world around them. These experiences laid the foundation for her work in coaching, where inquiry, reflection, and self-awareness are central.

Foundations of Our Coaching Work

Lisa’s transition into coaching grew from a deeper understanding of the relationship between internal awareness and authentic action. Embodied practices, including yoga teacher training, and her journey into horsemanship, particularly with her horse Sheba, revealed profound lessons about presence, authenticity, and relational alignment. She learned that how we show up in the world is a reflection of how integrated we are within ourselves.

This insight informs Lisa’s approach to coaching: she supports clients in exploring the interplay of language, emotion, and behavior, helping them cultivate self-awareness, clarity, and the capacity to act in alignment with their values.

Education & Professional Training

  • Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management

  • Master of Education in Global Education

  • ICF-accredited Coach through the Newfield Network ICF Level 2 Coaching For Personal and Professional Mastery Program

Lisa’s interdisciplinary background in education, ecology, human development, and international experience enriches her coaching practice with depth, curiosity, and compassion.

The Focus of Our Work

Through her teaching, mentoring, and life experiences, Lisa observed that many individuals struggle to fully inhabit their authentic selves. Social pressures, roles, and long-held assumptions often distance people from their inner clarity.

She believes that meaningful change begins with self-awareness. When individuals reconnect with their internal patterns, recognize their emotional and behavioral tendencies, and cultivate alignment with their values, they develop greater authenticity, compassion, and presence.

Lisa’s coaching supports clients in reclaiming this integration, helping them navigate complexity, build stronger relationships, and contribute thoughtfully to their communities. She believes that personal transformation has far-reaching effects—not just for the individual, but for the wider world.

Life Today

Originally from the United States, Lisa now lives in British Columbia, Canada, where she continues learning from the natural world and her ongoing work with Sheba. She brings these insights into her coaching, creating a space where clients can explore themselves deeply, safely, and courageously.

An Invitation

Transformation often begins with a single conversation.

If you feel called to explore your own patterns, perspectives, or possibilities, we invite you to schedule a discovery call.

Together, you can explore whether coaching is the right path for your journey toward wholeness, clarity, and meaningful change.

Your Invitation:

It all begins with a conversation…..

If you feel a quiet sense that something in your life is asking for deeper attention —

a question about who you are, how you show up, or what might be possible —

coaching can be a powerful place to explore.

You don’t have to navigate this journey alone
